Native Summer Village

This handsome facility is situated in a beautiful cove north of Juneau once used by Tlinkit people as a summer village. 

Mendenhall Glacier

This modern high-volume facility may be the only busy outhouse in Alaska, and this is the overflow from the regular bathrooms. Be sure to visit Mendenhall in the morning before the Cruisers arrive.

Matanuska Glacier

Don't miss this lovely spot just above the Matanuska Glacier. Look out for moose.

Worthington Glacier

Another worthy addition from the base of Worthington Glacier on the road out of Valdez.

Blueberry Lake

This handsome structure is next to Blueberry Lake near Thompson Pass on the Richardson Highway. 

Tunnel stop

These standard fair outhouses are near the Portage Glacier near the entry to the two-mile one-lane tunnel through the mountain to Whittier. Last stop.

Exit Here

This handsome structure is at the entry to Exit Glacier just north of Seward. You can gather nearby for a great hike lead by the Rangers close to the glacier.

Turnagain?

 

This dreary guy was off the Turnagain Arm of the Cook Inlet about a half hour south of Anchorage on the Seward Highway. You can observe the largest tidal changes in the US in the shallow mud flats over the hill.
